Celebration of the 27th anniversary of the founding of Vietnamese people's army (December 22nd,1944 – December 22nd,2016) and the 27th anniversary of national defence day (December 22nd,1989 – December 22nd, 2016)
On the occasion of the 72th anniversary of the founding of Vietnamese Peoples Army (December 22nd,1944 – December 22nd,2016) and the 27th anniversary of National Defence Day (December 22nd,1989 – December 22nd, 2016), Thua Thien Hue Education and Training Department celebrated a meeting for veterans at work. The meeting aims to review glorious traditions of the Vietnam Peoples Army.
We were delighted to welcome the psence of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee and Vice psident; Mr. Dang Phuoc My - Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Tan - Vice President; Mr. Doan Minh Thang - Chairman of the Trade Union; repsentatives of Divisions, and working veterans.
The Directorate and repsentatives of Divisions and Boards congratulated the veterans.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Deputy Secretary of Party and Vice psident along with the Deputy Director gave flowers to congratulate the veterans. On behalf of the Directorate, he made a speech to review heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army during the past 72 years of construction and growth under the leadership of the Party and the people’s care and comfort. That contributed to gaining a resounding victory and also brightening heroic traditions of the nation. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son acknowledged the contribution of veterans to protecting and constructing the nation, as well as to the development of education and training. He expssed a desire that the veterans, with their experience and credibility, always be good examples in implementing and propagandizing the Party's guidelines and the State’s policies. He emphasized that their contributions played an important role in implementing the suggested objectives of Education and Training in the academic year 2016 – 2017.
